    Hi Tasa,

I have a lot of Burundi Frontosa, I will soon be overstocked as they are now growing fast. They are in a 500lt tank and I want to introduce other Tanganyika Cichlids.

Please let me know if there is any interest.

    Will post pics next week.

    Thank you,

    You can get away with a adult trio in a 1.2m x 450 x450 tank, 5 in a 1.5m x 600 x 600 tank. I have seen 10 adults in a 1.8m x 600 x 600 tank. But recommeded is 2m x 600 x 600 can house up to 15 adults.

If they grow up together I find that they are much more peaceful towards the fish they grew up with. I used to have 5 adults in my 1.5 x 600 x 500 tank with no problems. I then introduced 3 more adults and the old guys gave the new guys a rough time for about a month. They did eventually all settle in. Also they are slow growers. They very chilled fish.

yes thats normally the case that they will fight but you must keep a very close eye on them cause male will fight till the death. females also fight for dominance. the least that could happen is that the new front will have some tattered fins but will grow back. the worst that could happen is death. yes deffently the best option to grow them up together.
