hi do they need to be souked and do they still styn the water?

i am busy getting stuff ready for my 1500x500x600 tank will house a single vieja zonatus in it what size more or less it the drif wood

 

All of these pieces have been in water before, I am sure they will stay in place as the bigger pieces are quite heavy.
