Hey. I'm shutting down my tank for a while. I want to see what impact that will have on the eskom bill.

I'm selling 2 jaguar cichlids for R100 each (neg)
They are about 20cm and 17cm in length

I'm also selling my 2 whiptail catfish for about R50 each (Neg)
they are about 12cm and 10 cm in length (Very thin body/tail)

And I’ve got one small Albino Pleco that’s for free

I've also got plants that I’m giving away.
I'm not really sure what they are but i think its swords, vallisneria end lots of African lotus

Shotgun Jags! Are they a pair? What sex are they?

 

At the moment Enver has got dibs on the jags but its early stages. I don't know if they are a pair. I bought them hoping they were (they look very different from each other) and the big one (think he is male) builds giant nest. cleaning out a lot of the gravel in the corner.

So I only think one is male and the other is female But I can't be sure.

 

hi @Franna, been doing some research and jags can be aggressive sometimes, and i am scared for my oscar , so i am going to pass .

Only one Question. Is your tank big enough?

 

I'm not worried about my 600l tank, I'm worried about its level of aggression! My Parachromis loisellei is very territorial... I don't think it is a safe option as much as I want them ...
