Glowlight tetra's head turning black

Hi

I just noticed that my one glowlight tetras head is turning black. He seems fine and is eating and swimming normally.

What could this be?

 

Hey, does it appear to be external or internal, i.e. is the black almost like a new pigmentation on his head, or perhaps like a darker area within his head -as glowlights are quite transparent fish.

Either way it's difficult to say what it is, especially since he's behaving normally. Could you perhaps post a picture?

 

Any news on the glowlight...?

 

Sorry internet was down the whole weekend.

It looks like its the pigmentation on his head. It hasnt spread and he is still healthy and happy. Someone said its a sign of old age but i'm not convinced. Will try and post a pic later.

 

Good to hear, thanks for the update. Pretty weird but he seems okay after a while with it so that's good.
