my wife has a tank with a number of guppies in, and needless to say the have been breeding monthly, anyone fed guppies to frontosa before?
would it go down well :)

Hehe, nah man, I'm not keen on feeding fish, fish. Imagine your wife gave you human for dinner tonight? ;)

Each to their own, I'm just a catch and release kinda bloke!

    PS. I won't judge you though :)

It will work but you must ensure that you put a sign up on your wife's tank.

    (Ms. Greatwyte's Sushi Bar)

p.s. Oh and ensure that it is cleared by th CT health inspectors......................

Enough now,you can feed them the young guppies.
It will enhance their natural instincts like breeding, and fighting.

It's actually not really necessary, because most prepared diets (pellets etc) have all the required nutrients in them. I only recommend feeding live fish to fish which refuse to eat anything else. Otherwise, just make sure that the fish are 100% healthy before you feed them to the Frontosas.

iv always been an advocate for live feeding,i know that the dried food we feed has most if not all the nutrients our fish require but anyone who practices this can attest to the difference in which the fish take live food over dried food.i swear i can see the joy in their eyes.

ok please correct me if i'm wrong here, but is it not true that frontosa's dont do to well with high protein diets?

if so, then live feeders would be really high in protein?
