Has this ever happened to you

Since they are still so small, would adding a couple of cheap, live plants not help? (Even if they only surface to eat them or move them around)

 

Haha my flowerhorns are bigger then my dovii

 

honestly never had a plant in a tank in my life and admin of setting tank up for it not really something i want to do, worried i over stress these lil guys to much

 

Not for long thou, if these dam lil ninja fish start eating and stop hiding

 

The earth worms I keep are about 5cm long and will easily get taken out by a 5cm fish. If you dont come right by the weekend let me know and ill drop off some for you. I have to come and see your other monster anyway :idea:

the fact is you may just be too ugly for these fish .....best you fly them down to me .

 

What is the eventual plan you have for these fish?
I have read many times that the adults can only be kept singly in their own tank otherwise they kill each-other.

 

The adults get huge and can be kept with other fish esp something like buttik as long as you got a mix of diff size fish , must admit they not the prettiest of fish as adults .

look at the fish on page 3 does not get better than that

 

just a update did a water change and seen all 5 lil buggers still good, food seems to be dissapearing when lights off so i am getting somewhere
also getting a school of tiger barbs today
things looking up
