    Thanks @BoelderBeestie
Just to note that the stand was the exact measurement as the tank... Only overlap was in the extra high density polystyrene.

I take that back then haha. Looked at it closer now, @Blade seems to be spot on, that steel does look very very thin. Also the way it's put together, I build a solid shape like a box for my stands.

If u want i can draw up the tank and stand with where it should be braced and run a stress analysis on the drawing and advise. Basicly you have around 1ton of weight over four supporting legs currently.

Maybe just a hand sketch of the tank. I will redesign the stand in accordance to weights and so.

Okay. Design done and stress analysis done. 1.4 ton of load applied over upper surface of stand and less than 0.1mm defection. According to my calculations, max deflection on glass is 0.38mm allowed based on tank size but of course bracing will assist with strength over long spans.6044a6622b1ad0c1ab22fd04656b7dd2.jpg3170f9026c1b198c7ba6a1ccc59d052f.jpg6d25b17e39fef85fa2dd5a2ab355dc2c.jpgd364e942341bf2d8780437b90ddb8d38.jpg

Also a wood base doesn't mean a chipboard base use a pine shutterboard type wood 20mm with a min 10mm FOAM base .
