Info on Canister filter

    I have a Dolphin c1600. Does anyone know if it sucks the water from the tank from top to bottom and then out through the tube that forms when you put your baskets in?

    Or

    Does it go through the tube that forms basket upon basket to the bottom and filters up?

    It should filter through the baskets then pumped up throught the tube

    In my pants.
    Mine pumps it down through the "tube" formed by staking the baskets on each other then the pump sucks the water through the baskets.
