    Yep Oosthuizen is a fairly common surname here, and is probably because the original ‘stamvader’ came from your hometown :thumbup: Other examples are Van Breda, Van der Merwe etc. Then we also have occupations as surnames eg Bakker, Visser, Smit, Bouwer :)

    The greenery and water ways is just incredible
    I can not remember when last i have seen extensions of fields that green here for a long time
