    Visited a friend who lives on the 12th store of a flat. Made it possible to shoot some pics of the surroundings able to look upto the coast. The water nearby is the "ringvaart" (= ring canal) which surrounds the totall polder Beemster (where I live : about 6 meters below sealevel).

    BTW did you notice the guys on the canal.
    It is called "suppen", peddling on a surfboard and very populair at this moment. Some have the skills to do it standing. [​IMG]

    That's really cool! Must take quite a lot of balance to stand up on those and paddle!

    Indian Summer here. Warmest september 15th ever. Pictures taken yesterday evening during a cycletrip. Had to race home cause of the dark falling in quite fast hahaha.[​IMG][​IMG]
