Jason's little ones - Progress thread

Hello Everyone,

This thread is going to be for the progress updates of the 6 RT babies I bought from @jpvd007.

They were placed in their new home yesterday afternoon and after a couple of hours of lights out, I fed them, they were skittish as expected in the beginning, but today are all over the place, begging for food, eating exceptionally well and out of my hand

They are such a pleasure!

Hi Candice.

They are looking well settled, well done. I hope they bring you years of joy and if they look like their mom they will be stunners but I am sure they will turn out even better coz of the intense feeding program they have been raised on, keep that up and they should grow the size of dinner plates.

Hoe about a photo of mom? Would like to see what the young are going to look like.
I have go two that looks simular to these off spring.

@Aqua - Nice looking Discus. Very vibrant markings. Approximately how big are they?

 

Thanks guys, @MarcHawke, I would say around 5-6cm - very difficult to get an accurate measurement lol

 

I forsee six spoiled babies! Looking forward to watching them grow up, Candice! Please take some pics with something like a matchbox so we can do size comparisons later?

 

That they are LOL, my bf even commented and said the way I am with them is like having a real baby hahahaa.... what a brillian idea, will find something to use and will stick it on to the glass so we can compare

 

Hi all

If you guys and Girls look on this thread you can compare the size to the thermometer that they are next to its a standard mercury thermometer tht you get in all pet stores. As for the mom she is also on this thread.

Ok so here is a pic of them next to the boyu thermometer so we can gauge their growth

They are not all the same size, but it will certainly give an indication.


Will post a new one weekly or so then we can compare

Hi Aqua

I have noticed the blue in mine over the last day or 2 is also becoming more defind it's that stage they are going threw. It's going to be interesting to see the changes in development raits between yours and mine espesualy after my ones take the trip to Nam, I am sure this will slow them down some in development but lets see. I will post some pics on my thread at the end of the weekend so you can see there brothers and sisters in comparison.
