JHB: +/- 15 Guppies

JHB/Roodepoort/Helderkruin

As the title says, approximately 15 Guppies to go to good home, and not as live food. All come from 1 mom and dad, Mom and dad still there, but don't know which ones they are anymore.

They "clutter" up my tank. They are all in my Nano tank at the moment (to make for easy catching later). Must be collected. Collector to please bring a bucket with lid.
I will chuck in dry fry food as well.

Thanks Oscar. Whilst I don't personally have a problem people breeding their own live food for their oscars, I just couldn't let these guppies face that fate. They have done nothing to deserve the death penalty. I have had the parents for over a year now, and watched then grow up with their children and grandchildren, (and I think now great grandchildren.)

 

no problem,i have a few myself now for about a week after nearly 20 years and i'm already attached they actually quite interesting

 

Man there is something wrong with these guppies if you had them over a year and only got to great grandchildren.
Feed them to the Oscar I say

Just joking Sometimes weird to think that only 2 fish can give life to so many fish in just a year.

 

Well @Vis, they have been in the community tank, so fry have been eaten (without my knowledge... so that is ok). Then once in a while I move them to the Nano to see if fish in the nano will have any effect on the algae, and that's where they drop their fry. If they drop and survive in the Nano, my wife refuses to let me put them back into the big tank... hence it's only at great grandchildren stage now.
