    I have an Intex above ground swimming pool.

    intex-liner.jpg

    Details
    Purchased in Dec 2011. (i.e under 1 year old)
    3.6m diameter
    0.9m deep
    7000 litre capacity

    Free on first come first serve basis.
    (But bribes and offers will be accepted to counter any previous offers)

    Reason for selling.
    The area I have this pool is next to a tall tree. Leaves, dirt and seeds are constantly falling into the pool. These pools do not have a pool cleaner (kreepy krawly) but rather a big pump that simply circulates water. If you put it away from trees, and keep HTH floater in, it remains clear. I do not have time to constantly clean this pool from leaves etc.

    Other:
    Pump working, but needs replacing soon. (about R300 from Game)
    One piercing in the top blow up section which I have repaired

    Will throw in net and pool cleaner designed for this pool.
    Will throw in balance of my HTH. (+-3kg)
    Will throw in ground sheets

    Please give me a few days notice prior to collection so I can empty it.

    This pool will work both as a swimming pool, or for your fish. You decide.

    My plan is to turn this area into a herb/veg garden with a small water feature.

    @gdt78

    Pm received. Lemme know when you wanna fetch it! Absolutely no charge. If you wanna throw in a herb, a garden plant or a bag of compost for it... then by all means.

    But otherwise, it was a serious booby buy on our side. The only place we could set it up was near a tree. My garden is far from level... so I landed up taking 2 bakkie loads of soil AWAY in order to make the ground where it is level... so now I need to bring 2 bakkie loads of soil back in. I had put a thin row of cobble bricks around the pool as an edging, and considering I already have a power point out there, I've decided that the area is going to be turned into a herb/vegetable garden with a waterfeature in the middle, and probably a small wooden bench in there. That way I don't have to worry about bringing in too much soil... just compost. I also can make the pond out of plain old concrete (Geez, have you seen the price of water features these days???)
    Also, the fact that this pool has no safety net or fence around leaves me feeling stressed out knowing that my son is going to one day be crawling, then walking, then investigating.

    @stormbringer101
    2nd dibs noted. Would be interesting to see how you make a fishy pond out of this... imagine an arow in this one?

    This one doesn't seem to come with nice girls like @Willem 's pool :bigsmile:. I would ask for an Intex baby pool as a trade. Your son will love the water. My daughter is 2 1/2 and will use anything including a bucket.
