Juwel Rio 450 - VERY impressed - need some tank imate ideas PLS

Hey Peeps

So I eventually gave in and bought the JUWEL RIO 450 / 400

Now I need an idea for some FISHES?

Awesome tank .... so well made + so quiet as I have it in the BEDROOM!

 

congrats but i must ask why in "the bedroom".

 

I need to get the pic from my camera ... but bascially the whole second floor of our house is bedroom (no kids)
and what was the old bedroomis a dressing room

so the bedroom is huge... and we had an empty sapce on the one side (WHY not stick in 450 L aquarium

 

i better keep quiet.
I would find it hard to concentrate on bedroom matters especially with a 450L tank in my sight no matter how good the missus looks

oh - I think most of us understand "in the bedroom" - !!!!!!!!!!!!! - any available space will do! NICE tank, bro! Ok, so the big :questionmark: is - are you going planted again? I'd imagine so?

that is the BIG question 99% sure planted (planted tanks kick a##) BUT I'm open to some suggestions ... hold 2 loading a pic

I would love to have one in the bedroom. At least your TV is not close to yours. Mine is right next to our TV in the living room. Just one comment "Thank goodness for PVR." more often than not, we find ourselves looking at the fish and then need to rewind.

Question - Why didn't you go vir the vision 450?

 

ja thank goodness for pvr... could also do with watching less Tv
..... LOVE watching the fish just before sleeping... keeps me calm

VISION 450? NOT A HUGE FAN OF BOW FRONT to be honest - prefer the square shape....

 

i have my tank im my bedroom the sounds of water is pretty relaxing i think and gives it a good feel

 

untill the one night you cant sleep then the sound of the water drives you mad haha

 

Noise. What noise? If he keeps the internal filter from Juwel, he will have no problem with noise. I literally need to press my ear against the tank to hear if it's working. These guys know their stuff. Agreed, external canister filters are probably better, but till now, I found the standard Juwel one to be quite sufficient.

 

talking about water trickeling into the tank i hate that noise when i want to sleep

My ATF guppies Breeding planted ADA setup on mom side of bed.
At dad side the Fry so I can have a good eye on my baby's

I love the sound of soft water running and fine bubbel's
If I cant sleep I stair at my fish's then I'm gone!!!!!
