Thanks @A new day Luckely it is such a low maintenance tank that it helps a lot. Moss wall is left alone. Moss/suss only trimmed when it overgrows other plants. Dead plant leaves removed, if I remember during wc else it can wait till next week. Maby I should test all my tanks, seeing that I have time now, just to check if all is still ok.

I have no idea what they are. They are in hiding, most of the time, and I don't get to see them together at the same time. Will wait and see

ssssshhhh do not tell anybody, the secret to you great tank it is longevity is the eco system you have going with the moss wall ;-) pulling "Aquatic" plants into fresh air, let them flourish with aquarium water contact = a much simpler and better low maintenance tank. Your tanks survival rate is testament to that.

    Looking great ...

Had a long and hard look at the tank last night. Unfortunately I have 2 females left.

    Moss wall looks great.

Unfortunately this happens. Are you going to try and find a male or are you going to just let the females live out their days?

@pierreschoonraad would you mind giving some info on how you constructed the moss wall? Couldn’t find it in this thread, is there another thread perhaps?

8 months on and some changes took place here.

I upgraded the 2ft to a 3ft, previous Brevis aquarium. It took some major squeezing to fit the hardscape of the 2 and 3 ft together as I wanted as much hiding places for the fish with the new set up. Current stocking in the aquarium is 2 x Crossband chocolate gourami's, 7 x Ember tetras, a lone rasbora (sold as a chillie but defnitly not) and a trio of Apistogramma cacatuoides double red.

Still trying to lower the tds of the tank, currently 110ppm, down to 50. Way more space for leave litter in here so I add them by the hand full with some rooibos tea and the fish love it. Still only using the 2 10W Beamworks lights and the plants love it. Removed some of the moss from the moss wall for my palladarium so excuse the empty spots.20201227_064412[1].jpg 20201227_064342[1].jpg
