    Hi,

    I would like to get a pair of Kuhli Loaches. I live out in Harties and whenever I go into Joburg to get some of them they are always sold out!

    where do you go? i got mine at clearwater mall, I have 8, and got them from clearwater's petshop, and I have had them for almost 2years..try them

    I go to the game building in Fourways and the Leaping frogs aquatic centre. Are they good in a community tank and do they have any particular needs? Can you tell their gender?

    They are fine in community tanks. They need conditions similar to tetra's. They have no scales and this makes them vulnerable to copper in medications.
    Give them some Sera sinking tab's (mine love them). Also try get 4+ because they like being with others. As far as sexing, little to none is none about the differences. They can be told apart when the female lays eggs.

    Jip, mine just hide all the time under the driftwood, so you dont see them...... but are you looking for the black ones? or the striped ones??

    the game building in Fourways? I dont think he has had for a while? if I am thinking of the same store?

    I Find the LPS very unreliable when asked to keep stuff for us regulars...

    Khulis are very cool and I found they were always good in my community tanks...

    I've seen plenty in Pretoria.
    Pet & Outdoor on the corner of Simon Vermooten and Rossouw streets in Pretoria East had the most stock and best price last time I was there.
    Why not just give the shop a call before you go through?

    Also, in the Fourways area - the guys at VIP pets (Northgate) have both striped and solid black (was there about 2 weeks ago) also the guys in Krugersdorp have (Ondekkers Rd) if you are in the area.
