That's grate, it will probably save you some money also in the long run.

I would love to get some L46 plecos but I can only buy 1/5 of the fish so I'll stick to cheaper plecs for now.

    Hi all

@wsteene, I just sat yesterday and thought I should give an update for a change...lol. Well here it is.

I still have only the two I got atm, just opened my email and got a response from someone in the Junkmail stating he/she has all the pleco's I want, so I replied and await an answer with pics, prices and sizes.

My L46's are doing great, the little one is growing up very nicely, very lively. The L333's are now almost at breeding size and the L129's are at breeding size. I recently added 4x Blue Diamond's and 2x Cobalt blue Discus with them, they are between 5cm and 6cm from the tip of the nose to end of the body before the tail fin starts. Decided to buy them small and grow them together and let them pair off on their own. I will move them in a couple of months to their own 4ft tank. These little guys eat like big piggys! My pleco's enjoy this benifit as well. I feed BS (live and frozen), @Prof Dirk's beefheart SV2000 mix, Mysis, frozen Blood worms, Prima Tetra Bits as well as the blue colour one's, German made beef heart mix, Spirulina flakes, Garlic flakes, sinking carnivore pleco pellets and algae wafers. This all ofcourse in 1/3 portions 3x daily as @Prof Dirk recomends.

Filtration still at 3000l/h, ph 6.4 to 7.0, NO2 0.0ppm, NO3 25ppm, Ammonia 0.0ppm, phosphate a little high due to diet but managing that with RO/DI water changes, TDS 140ppm. 2x Weekly WC is still done. Lighting is still a 20W FloGlo.

In a nutshell that is it.

    Regards

    Charles

Will try to take some decent pics this weekend. It's a bit tricky, the are always hiding behind a cave or wood piece. Will try none the less.

@RobZombie, no it's a little fork actualy, my fish have table manners...lol. I use the fork for baby marrow which I feed from time to time as part of their diet.

    Hi All

Seeing that I now have 6 x baby Blue Diamond Discus in there with them and the bio load is now way more, I am doing daily 20% WC's with 50/50 tap/RO DI aged water. Also checking ph and TDS daily now until I know where it's going. Not to worried about the rest as the WC's will take care of that. Also adding Stability and Prime at 2.5ml every other day.

@Charles remove the fork, and replace it with a sucker with the to plastic holders on the other side...stick the cucker on a ckean area then press the baby marrow into the 2 plastic pieces, problem solved. No forking needed...

Thanks for the tip Hennie. I am so used to the fork method by now it's 2nd nature almost. I usualy take the fork out, just forgot about it a little... I did remove it though.
