Another quick update... Found another L46 thanks to @Ammar. Collecting it on Saturday in Germiston. It is a 4.5cm L46 Zebra pleco. Will post as soon as I have it home and in my L46 tank.

I'm in the process of acquiring 3 x L46 full grown females! Confirmed females and have already bred at least once. Will see if it pans out.

Gues What! It did not pan out as I have hoped. This guy contacted me this morning and told me he just sold them. Got a better offer for them. You win some you loose some I gues. Well, I did get info of a breeder in the process, will go check this guy out at his premisses.

 

It would certainly seem that way... Lots of goodies that side.

 

My latest little L46 is still doing fine. Have not seen him eat with my own eyes yet, then again they get fed after lights out. He is still very shy. The L129's and L333's are comming out for food as soon as I put it in the tank. I am serious thinking of moving them to my 4ft planted community tank so that it is just the L46's in the tank. Think that will be better anyway for the L46's at the end of the day and seeing that the new L46 is still just a baby and I am still a little bit nervous about him surviving.

@RobZombie, no not really. Zebra's are doing great! The small one is growing very nicely. I added a few RCS to the tank and they are breeding in there, they were put there mainly as a food source. The pH went down to 6.2 after a while. I added some Coco Peat in stockings to my external filter and over time it lowered the pH of the water together with the RO WC's. I'm monitoring this every other day. The L333's grew fast, they are twice their size now and the L129's are also about double their size. I have one 6.5cm male of them and he is constantly caving, the other two smaller one's, sex unknown yet, is in and out of the caves occasionally and doing great. The big Zebra is not caving at all, always hidding under or behind something. Waiting for that guy from Krugersdorp for the latest list of pleco imports, he said he is just waiting for the L46 confirmation list and then he will send me the list. As soon as I have it I will mention it. I would love to get hold of some L134's, they are also stunning pleco's. I also added some wood pieces to the tank with flame, Taiwan and X-Mas moss on them. I eventually removed the piece with the X-Mas moss, it started to go brown. The flame and Taiwan moss is still nice and green and growing. Temp is at 28.5*C with a normal T8 20W FlowGlo tube.

I'm also investing in my own RO/DI Combination unit from Jim-D Water Solutions (this is not free advertising for them, just mentioning where I am going to source it from and this guy took time to explain various options to me in detail with the pro's and cons of each different setup and answered all my questions I asked him. Now that is service and I like that, and he told me to shop around for other brands as well and then decide what suits my needs best. No one else I contacted explained to me like this guy, you can hear from the start that they just want to make a quick buck out of me.). Tired of buying RO water and haul it from the pet shop to my flat. This unit will supply me with water for my aquariums and home use. For the aquariums a pH of 5.5 to 6.2 and TDS of 0ppm, for the house it will give me a pH of 7.8 to 8.5 and TDS of 40ppm. Two birds with one stone. Added a booster pump because my water pressure is to low, just over 2 bar, needs to be between 4 and 6 bar.
