I know this topic keeps coming up, so yes I know it is getting old...

I have been in discussions for some time now and this is the first time I can really say anything... I am testing LED lights at the moment, everything from T8 and T5 replacement tubes to the screw in bulbs strip lights and more. I have currently got a screw in testing on a 1ft with some plants so I will let you know how this goes.

Although not the best pics but the first one is the old phillips genie and the second is the LED, you can't see it too well in the pics but the LED is a much whiter light and running at 6000K... They are not cheap lights but the power savings of between 60 - 80% per light, this will eventually be well worth the cost.

Getting higher Kelvin rates is possible but the price gets much worse. If you are interested please pm me for info. I am not a reseller yes but maybe in the not so distant future in which I will look into becoming a sponsor.

I'm interested! Planning two 1ft tanks soon and LED lighting would be more than ideal!
