Leopard Pleco

    Hi Guys/Gals,

    I need to find a new home for my pleco.

    Nothing wrong with him, just that he is a bit of a bully when it comes to feeding time and basically chases my other fish away from the food with brute strength. And of course my clown loaches don't really like that.

    He is currently at about 11 or 12cm give or take a few mm.

    I would rather someone from TASA take him as to giving him to the LFS.

    I am not sure what they go for at that size but hell, I'm not here to make money either. So the first reasonable offer can have him.

    I am also willing to swop for a few nice guppies.

    This is for collection only and you need to bring your own transport container. I am in the Randburg area.

    Hi

    This is my first reply to a post on this site.

    Smart looking pleco. I am a huge fan of pleco and catfish. I can give hime a beutiful home in my Discus/Angel tank, but can only collect tomorrow night.

    Let me know if I can have the pleco.

    @Breado: You DON'T put a pleco with Discus. They will suck on the slime on the Discus and kill them.

    I guess it depend on your pleco. I have a 15cm spotted plec and 2 Ancisterus in the same tank and had no problems - they never went near the Discus or the Angels. Generall I found the the common pleco is problematic

    @slayer came to collect the pleco today.

    He was kind enough to take all my other fish as well.

    Next up...selling the tank.
