@Luis, Go to any Electrical outlet and ask for the T5 fittings. And then get some 6500K tubes. Get a timer, cost around R200 and some twinflex. This is what it should look like. A little taste of what to come of my 5 foot.

These are 1.2m. The ballasts cost me R270 odd per unit. The tubes roughly R45 each. just buy from electrical outlet. Much cheaper.

If you want to keep easy growing plants... go with T8's.'s.
If you want to eventually go high tech with lots of ferts, and pressurized CO2, then go with T5

For starters, go to your electrical wholesaler and buy an electronic T5 dual 54W ballast, 2 x 54w T5 tubes and end caps, the correct wiring, and bob's your uncle. (or boyfriend, or aunt!) When you want to upgrade, just buy the same, and duplicate.

Ha ha @Zoom, Bob is my Uncle..... But are you also then my Uncle? "Bob the Builder" LoL! Yeah I went the T5 route once off so I wouldn't have to upgrade in future. Still have to install those fans we discussed.

@Luis, the lights sold at LFS look professional and all that fancy tech talk. But bang for your buck is trippled going this route. Just do it Right Rite!

If you really up for some DIY & experimenting.
