Looking for professional Fish Tank mover in Cape Town

I am moving in Feb and need a professional fish tank removal company in Cape Town, no way am I moving my baby alone and risking breaking it

Great topic! I've looked high and low for similiar services in the past, in Cape Town, and was not successful. There's a huge niche in the market for someone who wants to open a business and start offering services like this.

 

That is untill you get a quote and it is like R2000 to move a tank, then you rather do it yourself

 

There's a guy in JHB that does this. He moved my sister's tank from her bedroom to the dining room (maybe 30m). He was apparently painfully pedantic about getting it level! Not sure what he charges though.

 

Hey @Aqua - used to live in CT and once had to have my 2.4meter moved....found the guys from Empire aquatics did a sterling job...Dont know if they are still around?

 

Hi aqua. I used a lovely guy that the pet shop recommended when i bought my tank, it was a large Boyu 1,5/70/60. I later discover that the guy is not really a "delivery company" but a service/install and consult he has been in the business for the last 15 years,. he is very knowledgeable, reasonable and basically a good guy, i like and trust him and i know many people do. he helped me allot since i began with this hobby 3 month ago (collected 2 large tanks, set up, collecting fish ect) I highly recommend him, if you are interested let me know and i will PM you his details.
