My friend had the same thing if it wasn't for her dog we don't know what would have happened to her. Only difference she had an Alsation and the dog really dug into her bf, he had to be hospitalised.

All small dogs are like that - whenever we came home, Jimmy always made a big noise and I had to yell at him to quiet it. He doesn't shut up for 5 minutes...

My sister had two worshondjies, they were so cute and cheeky loved them to bit I once babysit them for two week and they both slept on the floor next to my bed they wouldn't settle down until I threw my dirty cloths on their bed. Talking of that Rocky steals our socks and puts it on his bed.

Yup @Hendre thankfully I'm deaf so I switch off and keep it that way. The funny thing is that out of the 3 dogs, Gino is the only one who knows I can't hear and pokes her nose on my leg to get my attention. She is an SPCA dog - she came from my brother and when my mother first showed me how she would carry her leash to go walking. No one, not even the SPCA know where she learnt it from. When Jimmy had his back op about 2 years ago, she kept on trying to grab his leash - he wasn't allowed to run around or get excited or jump for 6 weeks and I had to give her a leash to carry to distract her. It was bad...

LOL because I give them a lot of my time - my parents don't and they're not my dogs (the 3 I just mentioned - Gino, Cammy and Jimmy, bless his smiling teeth over the rainbow bridge). They had a boerboel x ridgeback x mastiff. I trained him and my parents couldn't handle him but I could. Makes you think hard hey? I told my mom no more dogs after these 3 because I'm always looking after them and they always going away all the time, leaving me alone on the farm. They don't have time for their own dogs. These two haven't been walked in ages and I walk them so that they don't mess in the house in the night.

You mean selective hearing like most men have these days? LOL (no offence to the guys on the forum)

Yeah maybe that is my problem, I don't spend enough time training them, but being a mother of three, I use to work too so I didn't have much time. I'm spending more time with Rocky though. Seems like I always busy anyway, Rocky will sometimes just sit and watch me while I'm busy

Let me tell you something about male dogs - they do have selective hearing. Jimmy was exactly like that. Grimli was also like that too. Several past male dogs have also done the same thing. It's only the females that seem to pay more attention - I think it's something to do with food. Cammy is the biggest pig ever and she is not that fat but not skinny either.

Yeah I firgit to say thatbmost of my digs were/are males seems that selective hearing in males does cross over to different species.
