Meet and greet at Coastlands on the ridge

Nope, South American dwarf cichlids. They are perfect for planted tanks! hehe... I've been wanting them for a long time and finally got some now.

Here's some pics I found online of when they are adults. But not sure what strain are these... i doubt they are the double reds or triple reds..

They are still babies at the LPS, not 100% sure on the price now, but when I bought them it was R30ea or R50 for 2. I can try find out tomorrow morning if any of you guys are interested.

 

Going to do a water change on the potting soil tank now. Any one want some plant clippings for tomorrow?

Its quite difficult to get a pair at this age. I will try to get 2 pairs.

What an fantastic afternoon. Thank you to every one for coming.

 

So finally the kzn faction of TASA had a proper get together! We had an awesome afternoon of aquarium related chat, great networking and quite a few laughs! Was great putting faces to names. A great big thank you to @dash for organising the venue and chow ( which was yummy!) Thank you to the members who took precious time out of their day to make the day a success. Pics to follow....
