Hi there bud sorry to be the bearer of bad news but your flame moss is not flame moss at all...
Flame moss grows more upright towards the light and looks like a green fire when thick and lush.

I am also not sure about your Taiwan moss, but I can't fine my pictures of the moss to show you!

 

Could the flame moss not be looking "flame" as I have just got it and tied it to the wood, still needs to grow a bit? Might have mixed the taiwan and the java up. Beginners mistakes

I don't think so see how in your picture it is growing in a triangle shape? Flame grow differently

 

Check how the prongs grow in this picture and compare to yours in your picture they look more like this

 

It is flame moss.. When it starts to grow it will resemble a flame.
The taiwan is also real taiwan moss.
They both came from Prof Dirk. i doubt he would sell moss that is not correct, and I trust he knows more about aquatic mosses and plants than all of us put together
