My 1,2m malawi tank

*main tank : 1200 x 450 x 450 (overflow chamber in right rear corner with 50mm hole in base)
*sump tank : 900 x 350 x 350 (divided into 6 compartments)
*extra tank : 1200 x 450 x 450 (this tank has a crack on the base)
*stand : metal square tubing (accomodates both main tank and sump on shelf below)
*all plumbing from main tank to sump included (tank connector, pipes and bends)
i currently have bioballs, curlers, filter wool and filter matt in sump, all included as well as extra bag of filter wool and extra roll of filter matting.
*substrate and lots of rock in tank included
*return pump : ATMAN3500, 3500litre/hr pump.
*heater : 1 x via-aqua 300watt heater
*thermometer : 1 x glass thermometer and 1 x digital thermometer
*all plumbing for return pump also inlcuded, as well as my diy spray bar
*1 x 25litre bucket and siphon pipe for water changes and maintenance


tank is in superb condtion, i intended breaking up the damaged 1,2m tank to use that glass to make a lid for the main tank, but i need to sell because i dont have space in the apartment for the tank and it is now setup on the balcony so having hectic algae problems, sad sale, but rather that than sitting with a green tank.

price : R3000 for everything.

there are 18 small and medium malawi cichlids in the tank, R200 extra for all the fish.

warnoob, cool man, try make it abit late'ish though, should be home by 7 or so though.

the green water is not too attractive, but the fish look happy, so thats cool.lol.

Hey thank You man, damn i want to cry hey,lol, because of space constartints, i cant set this tank up, so sitting with a biggish tank and NO FISH to care for and enjoy. and no moola to do a smaller setup either, until i sell these tanks.

maybe we should swap

Im serious though if you were located in jhb I would have made a plan to purchase your tank. Only method now is send it via ocean and upstream a river lol.

I can possible squeeze R600. (Have to first talk to the misses) I know the tanks are worth allot more but that's all I can do right now. I live in George and am comming up to cape town on the 11th of March. Would everything perhaps fit into a fenter trailer.
