    Wow, That looks amazing.
Why the CO2 diffuser in front and not hidden?
What is the name of the plant carpeting on the right?

    Thanks guys.

Diffuser there for a reason...I have 2 shoots of Ludwigia sp 'White' there that I'm trying to grow.

Carpeting plant = Micranthemum 'Monte Carlo'

Nice. Super lush with a natural/slightly overgrown look = my favourite!

    Ellos everyone.

It's been ages since I last posted an update on this tank of mine, so I thought I'd quickly share.

I've made several small changes over the last few months. Some changes I can remember are as follows:

    • Remove the Blyxa forest (just kept one shoot in the tank)
    • Removed 99% of the cryptocorynes, as well as the Nymphoides Aquatica
    • Removed the Nymphaea Zenkeri (and quickly too...grew super fast and large)
    • Added perimeter dragon rock and raised layer as a result
    • Used my small tank's Amazonia to lift layer mentioned above
    • Trimmed the Ludwigia White and moved it to the left. It started growing, but slowly...it'll take a while before this is a nice thick bush
    • Removed the Ludwigia Palustris, Micranthemum Umbrosum and Heteranthera Zosterifolia
    • Added Limnophila Aromatica
    • Added Barclaya Longifolia (definitely need to move this...to where, I don't yet know)
    • Moved the Eriocaulon Cinereum after it eventually started growing
    • Replanted my Staurogyne Repens cuttings, and now it's overrun my carpeting section. Luckily, it's a moderate grower, so I don't have to prune regularly. All this came from only 1 cutting that I received from @A new day quite some time ago.
    • The Tonina Belem was eventually planted in a structured way, after my 1 cutting started growing.
    • Alternanthera Reinikii 'Mini' was also replanted in a structured way after the 1 cutting grew
    • Added my leftover Bucephalandras from the small tank to the dragon rocks
    • Lost all my green neons (50) and bulk of my shrimps due to an accidental co2 flood in the water column during the night
    • Replaced the Green Neons with 25 x Glowlight Tetras and 1 x Crowntail Betta (for my wife)
    • Have switched my dosing to APT Complete (Best ferts out there imo)

Co2 is running at 4 - 5bps (I've ordered a large Twinstar CO2 diffuser...should be arriving by the end of this week)
    Photo period is 8hrs.
Lights = 3 x Marine Space MS1200F (2 running at full intensity, and 1 on the split mode)
With the plant mass, algae doesn't have a prayer in this tank. #touchwood

I'm keeping the space on the right open...still not 100% sure what I want there, but I'm sure it'll come to me eventually. Was thinking of adding Proserpinaca Palustris or Pogostemon Erectus, but I'll wait till I'm sure.

The Cryptocoryne Wendtii 'Brown' has grown a little too big for my liking. It's blocking the view of my Ludwigia White....I need to trim it.

I need to also move the Cryptocoryne Balansae...it looked cute at first, now it's irritating me purely based on its location. Suppose I need to move it now before the roots really gets entrenched.

I think that's about it...I think @Shabir probably has a better account for the changes I've made since the last post on this thread

I know a maintenance job is needed...that's tonight's job (hopefully).

Haha I definitely have the minutes of each change. And when you think a tank can't look better, there you come with a change and I'm even more amazed

To add to this, that part on the right, is reserved for plants I'm sending you .. so you better not go buy anything

I was just looking at these pictures again and I'm at a loss for words on how the Tonina Belem has taken off. My fluviatis looks like it's heading in that direction but without a doubt my Belem has all died off

Thanks for the kind comments everyone.

I am sooooooo behind with maintenance. Definitely doing a major trim this weekend. Everything needs to be cut back. My carpet is so thick, you could park a car in it.

    So I did a major revamp yesterday....time for a semi-new look.

She should be back in about 2 - 3 months.

Ooh, I'm excited to see how this grows in. Love what you've done with the wood.
