Thanks Rudi! I believe it must be Sagittarias, if not, definitely related! i wil have an better look once all of the leaves are in better shape! They are still recovering from the excel, and like vallis all that leaves will melt away so i'm waiting for the new leaves to get a bit bigger!

As for the excel, i was under the impression that allot of people have success with it? I did stop dosing the excel...

Like I said,all TRUE aquatic plants hate excel.I think 95% of plants used in aquariums are not true aquatics.They can and do grow emersed or above water with only the roots in very wet marshy soil.

ok just some more pics of what the tank looks like now... its a bit of a mess... no real scaping has been done as i am moving the tank soon and then i wil change the substrate and start from scratch...
