My 30l shrimp tank

Tank= Standard 30l
Soil= 1Kg Langa Soil
Food= Hikari Shrimp Cuisine
Plants= Flame moss and Hornwart
Filter= Sponge Filter
Heater= 50W Sobo
Shrimp= Planning on getting blue jelly
Light= 10W Floodlight
Scape= Have a small mini cave

Future Plan= Planning on getting a small piece of driftwood and amozon swords and maybe 7 or 8 neon tetras.​

 

Seems that I need to post some pictures. Had alot of algea so trimmed alot of plants.

 

Maybe the 10W floodlight to much.

Also have a few small snails.

 

So I didn't get high grade or same group of shrimps but I love them.

I know they'll interbreed and convert back to wild colors but for now I'm very happy

Not easy to take pictures, I'll try with my mom's phone as well, but they look amazing

 

Nice! I also got a mixture of colours, and for now I'm loving the rainbows. But when wildcolours do come, I think it'll be just as nice, natural

 

Yes I love them, have one rainbow in there, just amazing to see those colours.

Quick update

All the shrimp is doing well, a few have molted already, I think I'm going to get dwarf hair grass and remove the flame moss and hornwart and add a few neon tetras. When I fed the shrimp yesterday I counted 14.

 

Morning all. Got some exiting news. I trimmed the plants on Sunday and I noticed that one of my blue Jelly shrimp has eggs, so that's pretty cool. I should be able to see the baby shrimp end of next month hopefully.

I've seen a few babies already, how many do you guys usually get, the most I counted was 5, but I'm sure there is more

So if my eyes and memory is serving me right there is about 5 shrimp who is carrying eggs and I've seen like 5 babies one time, some red, some blue, is this possible to happen from one female, tank is mixed shrimp. I'll post pictures later.

When the babies are delivered I'm going to sell all my shrimp exept for 4 or 5 blue jelly, then I'm going to buy 10 or so more blue jelly.

 

Soon there will be 50

 

Good day all. Ok so there is a lot of shrimp now, around 18 babies and 18 big ones, early next year I'm looking at selling them only keeping my blue jelly and getting more blue jelly, or I'd just get 24k shrimp or maybe both, not sure yet. But next year there will be at least 30 big ones and 20 babies. 5 berried ones as well
