My Bettas

@HennieRoux thanx for all the info. I got new life plants today.I hope to see him using that. How do you use the bublewrap?

I dont use bubble wrap, but I would guess you just olace a square piece in the tank, and the male would use that as a starting point to build his nest, that way you can also minupulate @ where you want him to build his nest.

 

Okey thanks, but the breeding tank is almost done so im going to wait a while and then try to do it the right way

 

Hi everyone, so its been awhile....


sad to say ,, male above was lost , not sure why.
but i recently found a very young guy looking close to the above one



He was almost entirly white but in about 5 days turned much more blue.

well another update , the red male fins has come back to life, he stopped nipping himself .

Did you see them when they was younger?

 

Today I got a new betta, he was about R198 , but insanely great looking, might be new to some, was the first I saw that looked like him, but pics will be uploaded tomorrow , he's already showing off.....

 

Known as the Jumbo or elephant betta . There was a few very nice ones , but he was the youngest and i loved the white lining on his fins . Hope its something new to some as it was to me, first i ever saw them was last weekend when he was reserved

 

@Marius Swart please send me some detaills as to where you bought him, I`d love to spawn this guy, I have some beautifull fry with similar colours crossed wiyh a HM betta white dumbo ears male, and a white HM female. Maybe I can get the lfs to ship me down 2 of these guys....thanks

Thanks @FishLover, his green and golden colour doesn't show in the video, but on above pics it shows a little. I love him :drool2:

 

So another update, we lost the blue female, she jumped through a very small hole. Also lost the red male, was of his age, sadly.... But here is the few we have left.
