My discus

Hi all. So I took the plundge about 6 months ago and started keeping discus. Lots of water changes and feeding these are the results. These are in a 3foot grow out tank. Sorry about the picture quality.

Sorry man, couldn't resist and I know nothing about Discus other than that they are awesome.

 

It looks like a red pigeon blood discus..

Hi mate.

It is not as difficult as it is made out to be. With many knowledgeable people on TASA life has been made very easy caring for discus. Follow some basics and you are on your way.

I am in the process of building my tank, a 700L tank.
I am busy getting into the hobby and getting used to everything, but one day in the near future i do wish to have some discuss

PB doesnt have bars, that one has a bar through the eye, but they can go by scribbles aswell, lots of names for the same type, but def not pigeon blood. PB looks similar though, but PB is mainly distuinguishable by its lack of vertical bars and its inability to show bars
