    my albino`s in growout....

    its a growout tank so the glass is very dirty, just gave it a quick wipe before shooting a couple of shots...

    oh and this (unproven) pair maybe be up for sale soon, just to agro in the display tank, chasing all the other fish into a corner... pm me if anyone is interested.

    ph +/-7.4
    NO2 0
    NO3 >5
    very soft water
    use seachem flourish trace and excel

    A pH of 7.4 and the discus are happy? Wow! That's weird! Discus usually prefer nearer to those the other way round at 4.7! Supprised your getting any eggs at all? Well, just goes to show how adaptable fish can be! Love the turquise! Cheers! Big G!

    hi big C, maybe if you have wild discus and would like to breed them, then a ph of 4.7 could be usefull. They dont seem to mind a higher ph at all just as long as it is stable (using well aged water etc etc). I mix RO and tap water in a bin where it gets aerated for 3 days up to a week before i use it in a water change.
