I agree with @dash, there is no need to argue and attack one another.

I too would then be considered a cruel fish keeper as I too have a large diversification of species in my 3ft, but I also have a large power head filter running, and I very rarely ever lose fish from this tank. It isn't planted either... yet.

Each person is entitled to their own preferences and views on everything, but please don't get aggressive with one another...

I wonder if I should coin the term: "scapers regret" lol! My new scape just does not look as amazing as my original, I guess it will grow on me. Will give it some time to grow in as well.

Anyone have experience re-attaching Anubai to wood? I cut the mother plant into smaller sections and glued them to a piece of driftwood. Will these smaller pieces die?

Should be fine assuming you made the cuts vertical and not horizontal.

And here it is, everything in the tank is basically re-used from my old scape, including plants and hardscape. Only new piece is the big piece of driftwood in the centre, I removed the Anubai Nana from the other piece of driftwood cut it into smaller pieces and glued it too the wood, I basically want it to cover the entire top part giving a tree looking effect. The bottom part I planted the Dwarf Java Fern to give the effect of grass, I then surrounded the piece of wood with all the pieces of dragon rock I had giving the affect of a tree breaking out of a rock. Only thing I still want to add is another Anubai plant on the piece of driftwood on the right to complete the whole thing. Will fine tune everything as it starts to grow in.

Looks great! I like it. The previous one was a bit better but one does get bored with one scape for a long time. You must've found kuhlis al over the place when lifting stuff up!

@HeinrichLourens: Yeah all of them big and fat, but I did not find a single shrimp. I guess that is why my German rams are so healthy lol!

Going to go hunt for some Anubia this weekend that I can attach to my "naked" piece of driftwood. After that I need to let it grow in and see how it pans out.

Nothing really to report at this point waiting for my re-scape and plants to mature give it a month or two then I will take another picture or two. On a side note my fish are loving the Rooibos tea in their water, also make my whole setup look loads better. So I think I will keep it this way.

@Chongkie: I wanted my water a tanith colour so I added two Rooibos teabags, but there are also many health benefits from adding it to your tank. Go for it.

@Chongkie: Just make sure it is Rooibos and not normal tea.
