    Thanks.

Then my next question, as most mbuna's are difficult to sex when they are juvies, whould i then rather buy mature ones. However i would like to buy cheaper as juvie to save on deaths.

Ok i have checked some more. I am going to try and get the following:

    Labidochromis caeruleus
    Metriaclima estherae
    Pseudotropheus flavus
    Pseudotropheus saulosi

    and optional replacements per specie

    Pseudotropheus demasoni
    Labidochromis sp. "Hongi"

    Cheers

You are choosing for all the wrong reasons. Research the fish properly. Estherae and Demasoni are of the more aggressive mbuna, so is Saulosi.
If you can look at Pseudotropheus Acei, Melanochromis Johanni, Metriaclima(Psuedotropheus) Elongatus Usisya, Melanochromis chipokae, Pseudotropheus crabro. You can add a Copadichromis Borleyi, Nimbochromis venestus or livingstonii, Protomelas Spilonotus or Steveni Imperial.
You should have had your fish in the tank a week ago. If you can fine Organic Aqua 250-500l Step1 adfd this to the tank.
I started up a 3ft(100l) using this and had 34 8cm fish in the tank. No Ammonia or Nitrit problems.

Cropheus, do not worry about the extra males. I have found that 3-4 males reduces the aggression levels to about zero Ran a 300l tank with 4 large males and about 4-6 younger males with about 15 females. Had the 4 in full colour at all times and the youngers were always trying. Spectacular tank to watch.

I tried to, but only placed them to look good.

Secondly, some more advice. I have a Cascade 1000 external canister, and a 400l/h internal. That is 1300l/h filtration. Do i need more on my 240l, considering that i will end up with between 20-30 fish?

    Hi all

Another update. I got my 8 juvie lab.c's. Waiting for the pseudo. Acei still. Did a 2 hours drip method to lessen the shoch on the fish. They are fine, but hiding away.

    Rearranged the tank a little.

I have another question. How long in general do the fish hide until they are accustomed to the new tank?
