Lady I will give you seeds Dont buy the seeds they promise you yellow and all colour flowers you luxkybif you get 1out of the 1000 that is not pink.The hybrids flower through the summer the thing with adeniums if they lose there leaves dont give them any water nothing. With seed if you know what you do can have flowers in a year and easy to grow from seed 3 days and seed germinate

 

I had the same thing happen - yellow cosmos and they all turned out to be different shades of pink and purple

Today I was looking around seeing if I can find any fascinating plant. You people really inspire me

 

I have them in the freezer will give to you I have get Reds Whites and multi colours most I pollinate myself so will be true colours bad time of rhe year to plant can start planting in August September

 

Where do you get desert roses I haven't seen them at my local nursery

Most of may plants are from seed and we bring in plants from thailand nd swop between a few people

There is also a nursery outside Pretoria Flora Africa that sell indigenous adeniums and succelants last saturday of every month in the summer

@Toms ek dink ek het nou iets gemis want ek het geen idee wat jy nou gesê het nie lol

 

Lady die skaarser adeniums met die dubbel blomme en soos pers is baie moeilik van saad af mens met honderde plant om een van die kleure te kry so ent hulle op inheemse speaies weet jy kry blom kleur en het goeie wortel stelsel onder plant

 

Toms That does make sense as some adeniums seeds and plant are quite expensive and not seen very often. Question is adeniums are succulents shouldn't there cuttings be very easy to grow such as other succulents and cacti

 

If you do cutting they dont make the Caudec that is a big part of what makes the plant so unique. Getting cuttings to root not a problem but keeping them alive another problem because of water needs will rot like nothing because diffucult not to water them
