    Hello all

Thanks to @gdt78 I got a great 2nd hand tank with some awesome DIY lighting.
So I Picked it up yesterday and this is what it looked like...

    IMG_7020%20(491x640).jpg

So after draining the water and leaving about 10cm worth of water, gdt78 and myself manged to fit it in the car which I though was an average size i20.

Got it home and the scrape was ruined.

Filled it up and moved all livestock to the tank on the left and the plants in the drum to the right.
All livestock survived the 60km trip home

    So today (Sunday)
Took out all the ADA and gave it a quick rinse to get rid of the unneeded fish poop.
Then I proceed to paint the back glass panel black.

    DSC_0704.jpg

So the tank is painted the ADA back in and the hard scape to start.
Drawing inspiration for the Green Machine, I'm going to try my luck at an Iwangumi scape
So with my koppie rock in hand I started

Was not happy with this, called my fried @HennieRoux and he helped me out with some more.
So by the end of Sunday I had this...

Step 1 completed, the planting to commence in the not to distance future...

    Love the rock ..

I have watched a few of the ADA gluetubes and they seem to do allot of terrace work with rocks - filling the back with more ada and planting at different levels. The sizes of the rocks seem well suited to do something similar.

Looks amazing, I find that the black at the back makes the tank seems much more alive
Any plans on what fish ?

    Very nice.

Try to level the substrate in the front.

Hope you succeed in re-connecting up the wiring of the 4x T5's.

    Shout if you need assistance.

A tank with no C02 is like brandy with flat coke. Just don't work.
Yes c02 will be part of the setup. Just need to get an extra fireex.
will rotate my current one between the 2

So I have now done 80% of the planting and have by driftwood busy soaking still to go in.
Hair Grass is a pain to plant.

It just shows you, you can do something with natural rocks you collect in Roodepoort. Looks great, you have dwarf hair grass in front, I would plant the larger hair grass just on the back of that flat rock to grow in only that spot. What are you planting in the right hand back corner?

@DerikPelser I have some dwarf Vallis if you would like to fill in the gaps at the back of those rocks on the right?
