My new 2nd hand 3 foot 100cm tank

    I think without the co2 the hair grass may take longer, with co2 it grows like....well grass, as it states. Otherwise I think this is going to be a champion tank.

    Question, If you look at the last pick you should be able to see a layer of something on top of the water.
    How do I get rid of that?

    3 ways....either a skimmer, a paper towel or enough current to break the water surface.

    Good progress Derik but as Hennie said you need co2 for the hair grass so that it can grow faster and taller.

    @DerikPelser, your tank is looking really great... What plants do you have planted in there besides the Anubia and Hair grass? What specie of crypt have you planted in there?
