    So my new 4ft tank is finally cycled and I rescaped the tanked today. Since I am keeping a few silver dollars, plants are a no-no, and hence I had to stick to sticks and stones.

    However, the more I look at it, the more the stack of rocks in the foreground looks out of place. They may need to be removed...

    Your comments will be appreciated.

    I have 2 say ur tank looks awesome:). My opinion , all the rocks looks fine except the grey slates(stands out) - u should redo that- create a triangular cave. How- prop both slates on the "square looking rock". And have them go between the logs.

    Jst my opinion. (^:^) other than that ur tank is looking sweet.

    May I ask, where did u get ur tank and wat did u pay for it? Also where did u get ur rocks from? I need 2 get some for my new malawi tank and I have no idea where and there isn't really any big rocks in my area.?

    Hi Dillon,
    Yeah, I also think those slates don't fit, I will remove them next weekend. Thanks for the comments.

    The other rocks were lying around in the garden when we moved into this house 15 years ago. I re-purposed them for use in the tank, so unfortunately I have no idea where you can get some more of these.

    The tank I got from the lfs at Plantland Wonderboom in Pretoria. They have a small petshop in the back and they happened to have this over-designed 4ft tank, that just so happen to fit perfectly in a metal stand that I already had. It is made from 10mm glass, with longitudinal and cross bracing on the top. Bit of an overkill most likely, but I reckoned that over-designing a tank couldn't hurt. I paid R2500 for it though...

    @JJFury,

    Looks good.
    Just my opinion.
    I would have a tall piece of wood (the spindly root type) at the back, just to give the decor some height.
