My new (preowned) 600l tank

Those Oscars are beautiful and are going to grow up to be stunning. A trick that I found over the years to really get their colours to pop is to use a very high quality Koi food. I have been using Tetra variety sticks for years and my Oscars absolutely go crazy for it.

Also rather feed less than more, they are usually always hungry but always say a hungry Oscar is a healthy Oscar.

My Diet for my cichlids is hikari pellets products and frozen brine shrimp from ocean nutrition ( once week ) being using it for few year now and works great.

Just given what works for me.

But each to his own and what works for the setup and fish.

 

Did you paint or stain the cabinet

 

Im planning on making mine dark aswell

I would Replace the door handles ,It Willl Give it a nice updated modern look.

 

Thats definitely one of the changes also the the pieces siliconed to corners is coming off but i first need to make it darker to fit in with rest of furniture
