hey ... finnally got the time to create this thread..

The tank was taken down to get rid of pest snails approximately a month ago ...

Recently packed up my marine nano tank (boyu tank 128 liter) and turned it to freshwater...will start a separate thread for it

The tank is 200 liter, 3 t8 globes (i think) 30 watts each 2white 1blue, running DIY CO2 and using sera ferts (liquid and tablets)

    Substrate is Pool Filter Sand

    Livestock

    5 Balloon Mollies 1 male 4 female
4 Balloon Molly Fry (hate keeping them in the trap but will set up a fry tank this weekend as this week is hectic (lots of work and i am getting sick)

2 female guppies (+ 1 fry I got from someone) male I moved to the boyu to grow out as they are still young

3 Panda Cories (will get more soon)

1 Neon Tetra (will move to the Boyu and get more Neons)

1 Halfbeak (still deciding if I want to get more)

1 ancistrus (not sure what he is)

    Plants

    Dwarf Hairgrass
    Anubias
    Java moss
    Java fern
    Cabomba
    Giant Vallis
Guppy Grass (as soon as I change the substrate and get more ground cover for fry to hide in this is gone as it irritates me floating around it just doesnt look nice)

all plants are growing and happy (which is awesome as this is my first try at planted tanks

    Future plans

    Change the substrate
    Change Aquascaping
    More plants
    Pygmy cories
    Blue Ribbon Guppies
    Electric Blue Rams
    Rummy Nose Tetras

    Please leave comments and suggestions

    Hi guys

I woke up this morning put my tank light on, and there were probably 20 baby Balloon Mollies looking at me....... awesome!!!!

except for the fact that I am LEAVING tomorrow morning for 10 days !!!! Help what should I do? I cant trust someone to feed them 2 - 3 times a day without the risk of them totally overfeeding them... and I ask someone to feed them only 1 time every 2 days (just to minimize the change of them overfeeding)

    What should I do?

    Help Please!

Don't know if this will help but I know you can get feeders that slowly dissolve over the course of up to 14 days especially for people going in holiday. Maybe you can get something like that? Don't know if the LFSs are still open though

Hey Brandon, what is the name of the substrate because I can't find anything like it here. What are the size of the granules?
