    Thanks bud! I dunno though coz even though they are of similar colours i think they are different sub species and I have no idea on how to sex them.

    From what I know, fattter with pink belly is female and smaller with diamond shape tail is male. The male also has a longer and pointed dorsal fin. I don't know how the subspecies work with them though.

    as far as i know yes . i have to that look almost identical to yours , and the dont stop breeding .. shes a bit of a slapper

    So bit of a sad update, went away for the weekend, on my return I opened the front door and was greeted by a smell that fish keepers dread. Seems load shedding was done early on Sat morning for about 6 hours, there were many losses various tetras, boesmani, rummy noses and my prized suranimensis and pimalodus pictus are in fish heaven
