    OMG on my October field trip I had one try join me in bed... Never before have I jumped out of bed that fast in my life.
    It doesn't help that they move so fast

    My soul would immediately have left my body.

    They are ridiculously fast… and it doesn’t help that they look like a mutated super spider.

    I heard this one walking down the wall - it sounded like a small child’s footsteps. When I tried to shoo it out with a broom it ran under my bed and disappeared.

    I locked the door, set up camp on the sofa in the living room and cried myself to sleep.

    I’ll leave it to you to decide which parts of my account are exaggerated…

    A bit of a late winter blast that you're getting up there? I'm headed up that way at the end of April to visit my dad in Breda. Hopefully some of the warmer weather will emerge by then :)
