Look at SUNSUN. The have a nice 12/14 hundred canister that will go nice with the tank and are priced very well... Getting my 2000L canister on monday.

Hi, remember you will need a filter that can cycle your tanks water at least 4 times per hour. A 4ft tank is a+- 250l so you will need a filter that does minimum 1000l / hr . If you have alot of fish then you must get a filter that does more.

Looking good! Just one thing, the oxides darken quite quickly (check my tank thread...early pics and current pics)...I love it...makes the background even more natural...just thinking the green may not be visible within the year. But that's part of the process :) Tank & background evolve!

Don't center it. Move it to the left or right, but never center it in the middle of the tank. It will distract the eye and it won't be very pleasing.

Google the rule of thirds. It gives a good example of what I mean.

I think without the large piece you may as well save yourself the effort and leave the poly out - so, definitely in, but as Sean said try move it off center.

Yep just keep it all submersed... You will see the water become mercy.

Do a water change one or twice a week for about 3 weeks...

My water started to smell just like pool water with that chlorine smell.

Gonna be interesting to see the color change when its settled in the water.

When the water remains clear for a few days then you can assume it's leeched out. You can't force these things

Depends on the amount of cement but like Zoom said just keep an eye on the water...

Also do a PH test before you throw fish in and when you do add something like a platty or guppy to test the water and see if they make it...
