got the black background in had to make a mod for the inlet of the cannister and so far so good still running a bit high on the ph lvl, its +- 9 so a bit high but ya sorry as the surroundings of the tank does not look good but its whats going in side that matters.
will add a clay pot tomorrow.

 

@rednox Nice tank, did you buy it at Birds/Fish For Africa? Just asking because the price writing looks familiar.

if all goes well he will be in the tank by the weekend(vieja zonatus) getting it back from birds and pets for africa he is in there main display tank at the moment.

this was my vieja and photo of the time i had him, sold him at 20cm as he is much bigger now but i had him from 5cm he got to 20cm in about 8months +-. hopefully will have him back this weekend..

 

and i even won fish of the month with him last year.

 

I have seen him recently, he is a beaut! Nice fish @rednox.
