@MariaS I always wondered about this, maybe you know. What if you stayed in a high rise building, would the floor be able to handle these big tanks or will it give in?

Where there is a will, there is a way...
Can you see his wife in the background admiring her baby's new tank?

BB.... Now you expect me to be an engineer as well?
    Why... are you tempted?

Yew... I suppose some would be ok others maybe not depending on the building.. or rather on how it was built...
Im sure we must have some engineers of the Forum that can give us an idea..

Hahaha no I live on ground level but you never know what your next move will be. Can you imagine a floor collapsing, joh. I have over 2kl of tanks and that up in they air one day will be worrisome.

Just thought you might have thought of it also. Maybe someone in construction will know the tolerances.

Concrete slabs are tough. I have about a ton of water on a 2.5m x 2.5m section, on the first floor. No problems after 2 years yet. Although that is like comparing a VW Beetle to a Porche.

I would also think its ok, the weight is distributed along the length and width of the tank and not in one point only
