    I've used this tank for an attempted dry start but that went very wrong,so I took my time to complete all the DIY projects needed for this setup,bought all the equipment I wanted and finally setup the tank the way I wanted to.

    The cabinet/stand is home made and very minimalist.The pennant and light stand is also home made,creating a open top tank,which in turn creates a nice clean look.

    Driftwood was collected and prepared by first submerging until it sank,scrubbed and left to soak in the tub and scrubbed again until clean.

    Technical data:
    Tank: 450 x 290 x 300
    Light: 1/ 65W Philips Ecotone,CFL
    Filtration: Aquaclear 20 HOB
    Co2: pressurized Co2 injection,diffused with Elite mini internal filter
    Co2 management: solenoid and DIY drop checker,4dkh solution.
    Fertilization: DIY macro,Seachem Flourish micro
    Substrate: Seachem Flourite,Hagen Geosystem substrate
    Plants:
    Echinodorus tenellus
    Glossostigma elatnoides (Glosso)
    Hemianthus calltrichoides (H.C.)
    Lilaeopsis sp.
    Micranthemum umbrosum
    Rotala wallichii
    Ludwigia brevipes
    Microsorium pteropus 'Windelov'
    Rotala nanjenshan
    Fish: No fish yet,only hitchhiker snails

    I've left the equipment in to show how I see the tank everyday.For the update photos,I'll remove it.

    @Vis,
    I'll let the stems grow out some more and then shape them a bit,but I won,t let them go right out the top.I think the wood must be visible,as it's a big part of the scape.

    Very very nice.

    Wil you share With us the amount of co2 youre ading? Do you just go with bubles per second or do you use a co2 chart to work out the levels because i dont see a drop checker.

    Realy a awesome tank Rudi!

    @TankMaster:

    The rules of the forum:
    @Rudi was simply giving us a list of what was in his tank. He was by no means selling them, giving them away, or discussing how to get them. The CO2 and fertilizing regime that Rudi uses is not specific to the keeping of the blacklisted species listed, but is the general maintenance that he follows for the entire tank. He therefor was not discussing how he keeps the plant particularly. Therefore the moderators would not have a problem with this post.

    Thread cleaned up.

    @Slojo,
    I would like Celestial Pearl Danios or Micro Rasboras,but if can't get them I'll get some White Clouds.

    @Schalkv710,
    I DIY'd a drop checker,it hangs outside the tank.I made my own 4dkh water and add Bromothymol blue as reagent.
    The checker shows a nice lime green colour to my eyes.I guess Co2 is about 25-30ppm.Maybe.

    @Gert Combrink,
    Thanks pal.
    The competition? Maybe.

    Impressive dude or should it be Takashi...
    Look forward to seeing it mature. My only suggestion is to try and hide what fittings you can, but that will come as it gows. The rounded corners will certainly give it that extra class.
    Well done !

    The 2 back pieces,the up-rights,are steel.The front is electrical conduit sprayed black.
    @speedz,I'm thinking Celestial Pearl Danios but if I can't get any I'll get White Clouds.

    Photo update.
    I removed the Ludwigia brevipes after the pic's were taken.The plant doesn't work in this scape.
    I replaced it with Rotala rotandifolia and it will hopefully stay a nice red colour.Pic's will up next week.
    Some E.tennelus and lilaeopsis were also added at the base of the scape.
    Comments are welcome.
