Talk to Dolphin. I hear he has some nice Guppy's ATM.

Maybe check your water as well just to be sure.

my water is fine fish from another supplier doing great

 

There seems to be a problem with Gupppy's in the Gauteng reagion at the moment. Very weak strains or bad quality being bread/brought into the area. I've been through Guppys faster than I go through socks! I've given up.

Dolphin is importing "pure strains" (if that it the correct terminology?)

 

I was at the biggest livestock wholesaler last week and found some really beautifull guppies there, even females with fully colored bright tails... I really wanted to get some, even for myself, but there were just as many dead as there were swimming in all the tanks so I didnt dare get any! So, yes there could very well be inferior quality guppies in most LFS as they supply all over SA...

note that commercially you mostly find brackish water guppies, all my guppies are freshwater guppies...

further note, I only source equipment and accessories from that wholesaler and not any livestock...

 

most likely those came from the same wholesaler real nice now dead
