@DerikPelser - I am currently shooting with a Nikon D3200, an entry level DSLR. But love it!
Currently busy with two online courses, one overseas, and one local, in Afrikaans :)

Well I work long hours and travel a lot so when I am home I like to have a few friends over and cook for them, always trying new things but I have a few old favorites that I enjoy cooking. I also do some gardening and then some fly-fishing if I can get out of the city...

The Nikon D3200 is a great DSLR. I use my trusted Canon 30D, the old Canon vs Nikon debate!

I also like to draw and paint in my spare time. I finished painting this last night for my daughters 3rd birthday on Saturday. I think it came out pretty well. Cigarette box is for scale and not part of her present

We should make a plan with winter coming on. I can share with you what I have learnt over the years.

I also like sport fishing. Here is a pic of a 75 kg Tarpon I caught in Angola

Yes, I would have to say that is the fishing highlight of my life. 2 Hours and 5 minutes on a 50lbs marlin rig. I was sore for a week

Sho!, nice Atlantic tarpon. In the first pic is that the actual hook?
From what I hear they have very hard bony mouths and thought one would go for a circle hook to set in the side of the mouth.

That is a circle hook in the top jaw. The guide told me that is the best hook-up because it is not easy getting them in the side of the mouth and you have a chance of breaking the bottom jaw if that gets hooked. I will look for a better pic showing the hook

I tried making a fish tank a few weeks ago:

I gave up early because the Poly count is too high and topology is bad.Going to restart later with a more efficient method.

@woerman Sho! that must have been a heavy tug to set the hook. Would love to catch one of those buggers some day.
What I like about these guys is that they can adapt to pure freshwater, like in lake Nicaragua, some of the more wealthy yanks even keep them in big fw aquariums.

Check out this guy in the tank.
