    I really like the photo competition thread - but what is getting a bit much is the jabber in between actual photos ... does it not make sense to limit the competition thread to photos only and no comments. Since we have so many mods around it should be simple to enforce i.e. strip the comment and notify the spammer.

    What would be really cool is if the person first posts the pic in the relevant section of the forum (as an example under members systems, fish pics, full tank shots ... ) and then under the competition with a link to relevant forum thread should he/she/it want to solicit comment . That way comments and the life cycle of that system/fish/scene/plant can live past a mere competition entry.


    Would also help with judging the number of photos in the thread by look at the number of replies ;-)

    Just read Snypers post here and got an idea.

    We get 2 weeks to post our pics. The third week the mods decide on a top 10 (not sure
    on the amount for polls) Last week of that month the members get to choose a winner via poll.

    Just made it short and sweet, you more than welcome to add something. Is just a thought
