    This is actually our first try at aquascaping. The Mantlepiece project was just the learning tank - Busy converting to Malawi Setup ( uiteindelik ).

    Jebo is 80cm(L) x 40cm(W) x 40cm(H). +/- 128Litres
    substrate - PFP with Chemicult topped with Seachem Onyx topped with PFS
    Lights - ZooMed 1x Ultra Sun 25w and 1x Reef Sun 25w ( I know this is not the right light )
    Ferts - Seachem Comp and Exel
    Filtration - Powerhead @ 300l/h ( will get better filtration asap )

    Flora:
    Java Fern @tracyp
    Vallis
    Swords
    Anubias (I think)
    LILAEOPSIS BRASILIENSIS

    No fish yet.

    If you can ID a Plant, please tell me. Just want to make sure I have the right ID
    Any critics and advise is welcome.

    Hey Rickus, this is going to look awesome dude. Just break up the Lileaopsis into individual plantlets and plant about 15mm apart. You will have a carpet sooner this way.

    Remove the Anubias Barteri from the soil and attach it either to a rock or the wood....leaving it planted will kill it.

    Like solex69 said about the Anubias Barteri, its better left unplanted. We have a huge one that has traveled with us for almost 7 years - been in so many setups I lost count. I originally tied it to a piece of wood and its basically just thrived from day 1. Its currently sitting in a 4ft tank along with a bunch of plastic plants (I got lazy when we moved). I don't think its had any added fertilizer in about 4 years and its still pushing out new leaves.

    The tank looks great btw!

    @Rickus

    I've got exactly the same tank, except mine is 120cm.

    They lovely tanks. If you want to upgrade your lighting, but yourself some "undercounter light strips". It comes as a complete light set with a T5 tube. They come in a range of lengths... I think 2 x 60cm ones will fit nicely under there. I found with the Jebo tanks that the T8 lighting just wasn't powerful enough to penetrate the depth enough for my lower plants.

    Also be careful what you use to clean the glass (acrylic). It scratches rather easily. This was the only thing I don't like about this tank.

    @Zoom

    Where can I buy this? What make and model is this? Is it normal T5 tubes or LED Tubes?

    What can I use to clean the tank? It is a second hand tank, got it for free from a friend. I cleaned it but there is still alot of algae marks on the glass ( acrylic ).

    @Rickus - the lights Zoom mentions can be got from Builders warehouse - they stock 2 sizes usualy... An 8W and a 20W(Respectivly R100 and R160 at my one for the complete unit...) have an 8W one lighting my paludarium for the past year - works excelently!

    As advised

    @boebie - Lileaopsis, is this better?

    @solex69 - Anubias Barteri Nana. It is now planted on wood and the smaller roots is just a little bit under the PFS.
    Is this better?

    As Azurekoi says.... from Builder's or any lighting specialist. Ask for undercounter florescent lighting unit.

    Wash with a sponge

    Small Update:

    The Vallis seems to "melt". they are not doing well. Any reason why?
    And the water is brown. I think something is leeching, not the wood.
    Can it be the pfp and onyx sand? Will it go away or should I cap the substrate with another layer of pfs?
